Compression to drift-off in

Comfiwave is a soft compressive fabric, with a distinctive wave pattern knit. The wave profile creates a pressure differential, that leaves lines/grooves on a patient’s skin that help soften tissues and promote lymphatic drainage.

Comfiwave offers a unique additional option for patients to use in their self management regimen, which can be worn in a more relaxed setting at home and even overnight.

Below Knee Features

  • Stretchy lateral toe zone for enhanced fit at ball of foot
  • Shaped ankle zone increases comfort and prevents creasing
  • Enhanced instep compression provides added support around the top of the foot
  • Contoured heel section helps keep the garment in place

Benefits of Comfiwave

  • Innovative | Comfiwave garments use proprietary ‘low-resistance’ yarns which allow them to be effortlessly donned and doffed.
  • Conforming | 3D knitting technology creates a seamless knit which delivers a gentle yet targetted, therapeutic pressure of 15-21mmHg.
  • Breathable | High air permeability for coolness all year round, day or night.
  • Organic cotton | Soft, organic cotton against the skin ensures maximum comfort.
  • Making waves | Comfiwave’s wave patterning mimics the pressure differential massage effect that is ordinarily found in cut-foam, chip-bag style garments.
  • Simple sizing | Easy measuring with  colour coded sizing system that eliminates the need for uncomfortable sewn-in labels. 3 red dots = Medium Regular.
Materials: 82% Cotton; 10% Polyurethane; and 8% Polyester

    night stockings

Posted by Bobbie on 28th May 2020

i originally wanted a full length stocking but apparently my leg size would have to be custom made which currently does not exist so i settled for the lower leg. THis stocking leaves lines on the leg overnight so i can only presume this means the lymph is moving. THere is no information in the accompanying leaflet to let you know if this is correct or not. It is a very tick material and could well be hot in the summer i suppose.. it is comfortable enough to wear but very difficult to get slippers on as well. --- Thank you for leaving a review for your recent purchase of Comfiwave. With regards to the indentations that are on your leg after wearing, this is totally normal. The wave pattern and ridges within the garment promote softening of tissues whilst enhancing the movement of fluid through the tissues, therefore the you will have indentations on your limb on removal of the garment, this is nothing to worry about and indentations should resolve. Due to the weave and wave pattern the garment has high air permeability meaning that it is highly breathable and shouldn’t cause you to become hot or uncomfortable.
